Our Mission
Elissa & Nour, our very first Cobberdog
We take great pride in being a very small, family-owned and operated kennel dedicated to breeding healthy and correct Australian Cobberdogs. Our primary objective is to produce therapy dog prospects and continually enhance the breed's standards.
We have an average of 2 litters per year, and our girls never have more than 3 litters before retiring. All of our puppies are raised with a huge amount of love and care in our home. They are exposed to the smells and sounds of daily family life and are well-socialised from the earliest possible age.
To ensure successful matches between our clients and their puppies, we invest substantial time in understanding our clients' expectations. Through rigorous puppy testing at six to seven weeks of age, we carefully assess each puppy's personality and temperament, ensuring that it aligns with the desires and needs of their future owners.
We believe in the significance of preventative measures, so we do comprehensive genetic and health tests on all our breeding dogs, including a DNA test from Embark, hip and elbow screening to prevent dysplasia, patella examination, cardiac health screenings, and an official ECVO eye health test. Our breeding dogs also visit an osteopath at least once per year to ensure they are feeling their best at all times, and have a yearly general check-up with a vet. We aim to minimise the risk of health issues, offering our clients the greatest possible peace of mind regarding their furry companions' lifelong well-being. A health-guarantee is included with every puppy.
Our breeding dogs live in loving family environments, either within our own home or those of our trusted guardian families. By embracing this approach, we ensure that every dog experiences the devoted attention, quality time, and the joys of everyday life. This not only ensures their well-being but also contributes to the overall vitality and exceptional qualities of their puppies.
We aspire to produce the highest quality Australian Cobberdogs in Europe. Our ultimate goal is to provide families with cherished companions who possess not only superior qualities but also the innate potential to serve as compassionate therapy dogs. We feel very fortunate to have experienced first-hand the positive impact our dogs have had on our lives and well-being, and we hope to share this feeling with our puppies’ new owners.
